@littlelegrier"What I can do to raise awareness is to hold a forum for discussion. Though I do not have my own personal experience I can share stories of my family members. It is very important to raise awareness this month; I believe women as well as men should know the facts! We all have busy lives and sometimes we forget to take care of ourselves in the midst of everything so awareness month is a little reminder every year." | @isabellachristin"I think Breast Cancer Awareness Month is really important; people need to know what it is and the symptoms for it. I had a grandmother who was diagnosed with breast cancer at a very young age, who I never got the pleasure of knowing. It was really hard for my mom and her siblings. To do my part I will share this site, ad a nurse I will teach people how to self examine themselves and I also recommend the app called EPD (Early Detection Plan)." | @mrsbethel2013"Awareness month is so important because breast cancer is killing both men and women both you and old. This is the month that is also shared with domestic violence, which my organization helps with. I usually volunteer and participate in some type of Breast Cancer function and share information on both of my business pages." |

@lick_myfancyBreast Cancer Awareness month is really important because there is till no cure for it. Raising money and promoting the events is the best way to fight for a cure. I read an article about a scam having to do with breast cancer and I thought it was horrible. It's important to make sure the money your donating is going to finding a cure and not just a small percentage or just awareness. This month I will spread awareness through sharing the facts and taking care of my personal health." | @ace.theceo"I believe it is important to give yourself an exam regularly and to understand what you are looking for. Finding a cure for me would mean saving lives. Though I have not been affected myself, it has affected someone in my family." | @lilmisshoneyb"As a women, I am already at risk. This month is so important because breast cancer is something that affects half our population. Finding a cure for me would mean I would no longer be at risk for losing my life to this disease. This month I plan to wear pink and attend a charitable event." |

@womenbychoice"Breast Cancer awareness month is extremely important as breast caner affects 1 in 8 women in their lifetime and is the second leading cause of death in women. It’s important that we bring awareness and encourage women to do self-checks as well as schedule mammograms. Women’s by Choice raised money to assist the American Cancer Association by selling bracelets at various events, and we also walked in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Tallahassee Florida." | @raynarosemary"Breast cancer has never affected me personally, but I know people who have had it. Awareness month is very important for females because if you don’t get yourself checked it can quickly spread, I went to an event this month to support and also practice self examines and encourage my friends to as well." | @partygirllona"Breast Cancer affected me because my aunt died from it and my best friends grandmother has it for the second time. When I see how much weight she has lost and her hair gone from the chemo, it makes me sad. I think this month is special because most people don’t think about it until it happens to someone close, and this month we can all be aware. Finding a cure would be amazing and a blessing because so many precious lives would be saved." |

@candysboutique"One of my best friends had to get both her breast removed and it personally affected me to see her go through that at only age 29. To spread awareness my spa now host a spa party for breast cancer survivors and we also provide reading materials and links to keep people posted. I think more should be done in the months besides October because the disease is taking lives daily." | @lady_temp"Breast cancer has affected me personally because two of my aunts passed away From it.Breast cancer month is very important because a lot of people don't understand how serious it is until they loose someone from it. Finding a cure would mean the world to me because we would have more survivors. Companies that use the color pink for a scam I feel is wrong in all aspects but one day they will understand. I do not feel like it is discussed enough because people do not understand the importance." | @k_a_t_i_t_i"It’s extremely important for every woman to be aware of her body I know that everyone my age is not but this month whether you are 8 or 80 you should educate yourself. I think it’s unfortunate that some companies find no moral qualms about making a buck and abusing the issue, people have to grow up and be more empathetic. My big sister was the first person to show me how to do a self-exam, and I would like to ensure all girls get screenings as well as opening up the discussion on my radio show." |
